What we collect

Account registration and login are currently disabled while this feature is being built. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information at this time — no email addresses, no accounts, and no analytics or advertising cookies are active on the site. You can use every guide without providing any information.

This policy will be updated, and a notice will be shown on the site, before any of the following are switched on:

• Optional account registration (email address, stored via Neon, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany)
• Anonymous page view analytics (topic and grade viewed, no personal identifiers)
• Advertising cookies via Google AdSense

Advertising is not currently active on this site. When Google AdSense is enabled, this section will describe the cookies used and how to control ad personalisation, and a consent notice will be shown before any advertising cookies are set.

Future account data & cross-border storage

When optional accounts are enabled, registered users' email addresses will be stored using Neon, a database provider whose servers for this site are located in Frankfurt, Germany. Germany is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which provides a level of data protection recognised as adequate for the purposes of section 72 of POPIA. No account data is transferred or stored anywhere at present, as registration is disabled.
